I know what I want.
I know what I need to do.
I know how to go about this to get where I need to.
This is a big move. But is this the right time?
This seems like the best time for me to get some vision and perspective.
I’ve thought this out, counted the cost, weighed the benefits, made a decision in my head, prayed over this times without number. I think I’m ready. I’m ready to move on.
But how do I make a last impression? And If I ever want to come back, will there always be a place here for me?
These thoughts have roamed my mind the past few months. I’ve had to think about quitting my 9 – 5 job to chase my entrepreneurial dreams. The itch isn’t going away anytime soon – I have to scratch it and move on. For me, it isn’t about making more money (I could easily ask for a bigger paycheque), I need to do this. I need to pursue my personal goals. As confused and emotional this move is for me, I’m certain the positives will surely outweigh any negatives.
Outfit: Bell-Bottoms x Flounce Sleeves The disco era is definitely back. Bell bottoms emerged in 2015, was strong in 2016 and still going on this 2017. So if you had a pair, or have kept your old pair of bell-bottoms denim or tailored pants aside, dust it off, it’s here to stay. And while I agree that the key to making bell bottoms work is to keep the rest of the outfits laidback so the bottoms can can do the talking, the more drama the better for me pairing it with another 70’s trend – statement sleeves.
If you are trying to go after that “look at me” style this week, you can wear two trends but go for plain colours matched with patterns and pair with stilettos for daytime and blocked heels for night time. This was just me trying the flounce sleeves for the first time and I didn’t have to deal with my jewellery box.
