Happy new year guys!
Sorry it took me a while to realise it’s 2018.
I went to church on NYE and spent my New year in bed dealing with the perks of sunshine and harmattan. But finally got a chance and the strength to get up and getaway to Lekki Conservation Centre in my Terre Lagos gladiator sandals you’ve seen here
Terre Lagos is a fast rising footwear line by Terre Akpeji. Her slippers are locally shaped from black leather and set on a high quality sole that gives immense solace to your foot, so I had her make me a flat knee-high gladiator sandals. Gladiator sandals have been around for a few years now in many different styles, colours and materials, and undoubtedly continue to be worn. Why not? They are comfortable, versatile and absolutely the perfect ones for your wardrobe. And the key to styling is to pair them with simple minis, dresses, or shorts so they don’t overwhelm your outfit.
I went for a mixed prints pair but in one soft tones – powder blue on my white gladiators. Traditionally known for their flat soles and thin straps that wrap around the foot and often the leg, you can wear them with bold abstract prints, a crisp white dress, or your go-to denim skirt or shorts paired with white shirt crisp shirt on your day-off.
Gladiator sandals can make your feet look wide and your legs look short. If you have full or wide legs like me, choose ankle or knee-high gladiators in nude colors that are similar to your skin tone to make your legs look slimmer and longer.
Consider your leg and foot shape when purchasing or wearing a pair.
