I’m still in New Jersey but my countdown to Lagos already began. Cold weather season is here, and I hate it! The last time I was in the U.S for Christmas I regretted taking that trip and promised myself I would never come out here between December to February/March unless I really have to be here. I get constant allergies and it gets so cold that all my joints hurt, my hands and feet get numb, and when it comes to dressing casual, it can be quite the challenge.
With Christmas just around the corner, looking for outfits to wear to grab coffee with friends or for indoor gatherings can be tricky. So one of my easy-to-go style trick includes socking it up under boots, a sweater, plaid prints, beret and of course your winter coat. These pieces are easy to wear, great for photographs, will upgrade your winter wardrobe effortlessly and add a pop of colour or pattern to your outfits.
Not every single photo I take is shot by a professional photographer. Sometimes, it’s an unlucky friend or family member. In this case, a family member.
Surrender to what is . Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be. Life goes on.
So when it’s 2 °, sock it up and get a coffee break!
