About SharonOjong - Fashion Consultant in Nigeria

I’ve always loved fashion and hoped to someday turn my hobby to a career. I knew I would either end up having my own firm or someone in the fashion industry. So I got to work and started chasing my dreams.
Currently I am based in one of the busiest cities in Africa, Lagos where I recently left my fabulous day job as a TV Producer with SPICE FASHION CHANNEL to continue working on those dreams, as an entrepreneur with D.E.E.V.A.S WORLD (a creative communications and consulting agency), where we work with clients on any and all projects that require communications support.

Education is key to developing oneself into the best they can be, whether through experience, school, research or sharing knowledge.

SharonOjong.com was borne out of my curiosity-turned-passion for Africa’s fashion industry, and a pursuit to find my path in this world and be the woman I’ve always wanted to be. Today it has become the go-to for style inspiration for young fashion enthusiast across Africa and around the globe, while also helping entrepreneurs and small businesses to stand out.

When it comes to my personal style, it’s constantly evolving and always depend on my mood and the occasion, I enjoy experimenting with fashion, playing dress up, taking risks, trying on what works and what does not, figuring out why it doesn’t work and how it can work.

So I would say, my style embodies a mix of natural nonchalance that reflects who I am; calm yet bold, strong, and playful at the same time.

Without ambition one starts nothing.
Without work one finishes nothing.
The prize will not be sent to you. You have to win it.
The man who knows how will always have a job. The man who also knows why will always be his boss.
As to methods there may be a million and then some, but principles are few.
The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods.
The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble.
