Canadian based Nigerian fashion brand Andrea Iyamah is kicking off summer early for some of us with their spring/summer 2016 collection inspired by the Egyptian culture. The brand who are known for pushing the limits when it comes to their ad campaigns release their Spring/Summer 2016 collection making us think to spend our summer savings on all pieces.
In the business of fashion, it is not all about raising standards and releasing the most stand-out pieces and campaigns, it’s how you consistently raise the bar and that’s they’ve done again with this campaign.
Known to be push limits when it comes to their stunning campaign images, their spring/summer 2016 collection campaign Photographed by Canadian based photographer Willy Verse who showcases AI’s first in-house made prints made of high-octane geometry designs in a dessert, the campaign sticks to their inspiration for the collection Egypt with exaggerated eye makeup, messy fringe bob, model’s angular poses. The whole concept direction is making me start to plan a trip with my friends to Egypt.
“There’s something mysterious and daring about the Egyptian culture that sparked my curiosity. Symbolism was important in telling the story behind our SS16 collection” – Dumebi Iyamah (Creative Director, Andrea Iyamah).
